The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce confirms its support for associated companies active in strengthening educational exchanges between Italy and Cyprus with two important mobility programs scheduled for October and November 2025.

Following the significant results achieved in the early months of 2025, which saw over 18.000 hotel stays by Italian students on the island, the collaboration between Italian educational institutions and the Cypriot tourism-training sector is enriched with new initiatives carried out by T.T. TRAVEL TRAINING LTD, in collaboration with ORTHODOXOU GROUP, under the Erasmus+ program.

From October 4th to 11th, 3 Italian teachers were in Cyprus, engaged in an intensive English language course developed in collaboration with the Adult and Evening Technical School of Larnaca, led by Director Andreas Leonti. The school is a partner of the memorandum of understanding recently organized by the delegate for international activities of the organization, Marinos Louka, with IIS Prever of Pinerolo, led by Principal Roberta Martino, pilot school of the project, under the auspices of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.

The group was hosted at the E-Hotel in Pervolia (Larnaca), directed by General Manager Varnavas Theodorou, a modern and welcoming facility in a strategic location, distinguished by high hospitality standards and an ideal environment for educational and professional groups. This mobility represents an important investment in the continuous training of teaching and administrative staff, a fundamental element in ensuring the quality of future student exchange programs.

From November 8th, a new training experience will begin featuring students from the hospitality program, engaged for 3 weeks in an operational internship at the Golden Bay Beach Hotel, a 5-star facility of excellence in the Cypriot tourism landscape directed by Hotel Manager Anthos Asmenis. Italian students will have the opportunity to work hands-on in the dining room, kitchen, and reception departments, acquiring professional skills in a high-level international environment.

These mobility programs testify to the strength of the partnership network that the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce has helped to build”, emphasizes President Giuseppe Marino. “The collaboration with the Adult and Evening Technical School of Larnaca and with excellent hotel facilities such as the E-Hotel and Golden Bay represents significant added value for the entire Italian-Cypriot training system, guaranteeing quality experiences for both teachers and students.”

These new mobility programs are part of an increasingly structured collaboration framework between Italy and Cyprus, which saw the participation of over 900 students and 120 accompanying teachers from various institutions throughout Italy in 2024 and the early months of 2025.

The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce continues to actively support these initiatives, aimed at strengthening economic, cultural, and training ties between the two countries, confirming Cyprus as a destination of excellence for international vocational training.
